- <p> The bald eagle has a good buddy in Dolly Parton. At her
- Dollywood theme park in Tennessee, the country star will break
- ground next month for an aviary to house the U.S.'s largest
- collection of bald eagles unable to survive in the wild. Though
- it appears on the dollar and the President's Seal, the nation's
- official symbol hasn't always fared well. One member of the
- aviary is Osceola, a male that had been shot and is now
- one-winged. Dolly found him to be "real sweet. But I could feel
- his power. He needed to be respected. I didn't want to get on
- Oscie's bad side."
